So it comes as a surprise that Catherine Zeta-Jones's latest look is reminiscent of her breakthrough role, 17 years ago.
Sporting wavy, shoulder-length hair, the actress looked a picture of her younger self in the days when she played Mariette Larkin on classic TV show The Darling Buds Of May.

Zeta-Jones, 38, was attending a film event in New York with husband Michael Douglas, in honour of film-maker Milos Forman.
Her fondness for where she comes from doesn't stop at recycling old hairstyles.
Despite living in Bermuda, her and Douglas have employed a Welsh-speaking nanny for their children, Dylan and Cerys, to ensure they grow up speaking mum's native tongue.
